Early 19th Century Biedermeier Vitrine
South Germany, 1820-1825
Standing on conical feet Biedermeier Vitrine with two doors. Each door with four fields, three of them with glass. This antique Vitrine is veneered with cherry wood with very nice symmetrical grain. The furniture is flanked by two ebonized pilasters with caryatides at the top and feet at the bottom. The furniture is topped with the Schinkel. At the bottom one drawer with two brass handles. Inside three shelves.
Condition:
Condition of this Vitrine is very good. The furniture has been restored. Surface is hand polished with shellack. Ready to use.
