Late 18th Century Cylinder Desk with beautiful Patina,
1800, France
Cylinder desk with straight sides, closed in the upper part with a semi-circular flap, with two drawers. The whole rests on angular legs, richly veneered with with beautiful walnut grain and inlaid.
The piece of furniture is equipped with a very rare central lock that closes two drawers and a flap.
The surface inside the cabinet is covered with black leather.

This furniture is in very good condition.
It has been restored. The surface is finished with shellach and wax.
