Gustavian-style Chest of Drawers from the Late 18th Century
This exquisite chest of drawers dates back to around 1790, representing the elegance of the Gustavian style. Crafted from high-quality walnut, the piece is finished with a black painted surface, adorned with a hand-painted Gustavian pattern that has developed a beautiful, original patina over time.
The chest features three drawers, with the central drawer showcasing an original, intricately designed lock and key. The piece has been professionally restored, ensuring all drawers are fully functional and the interiors are lined with shellac.
