This Empire mahogany standing mirror dates from the 19th century. The rectangular frame in brown color is 106 cm wide, 12 cm long and 182 cm high. The golden mirror gives the room a classic flair in the Empire and Biedermeier style. This original piece is ideal for collectors and lovers of antiques and art. The headboard shows a pair of swans at the drinking trough accompanied by further floral decorations in gold, surrounding egg bars, pearl frieze and other ornaments impress the viewer, the headboard rests on 8-9 cm thick ebonized columns with golden capitals, the screwed adjustable mirror rests in the middle, It sits in a mahogany frame, glass dimensions 107 cm high and 54 cm wide. The free-standing mirror rests on a mahogany base, which has been complemented and decorated with brass applications. The mirror can be easily dismantled into individual parts for transport. The restoration was carried out carefully and turned into a true work of art.
