Description

A refined Danish dining table crafted in solid teak, dating from the 1960s and executed in the style of Johannes Andersen. The piece reflects the hallmark qualities of Scandinavian modern design — clean lines, balanced proportions, and excellent craftsmanship.

The table features a practical extendable construction with two pull-out leaves, neatly integrated beneath the top and accessible from both sides. This allows for a smooth transition from a compact dining format to a larger surface, suitable for entertaining.

The structure is supported by slender, tapered legs, giving the table a light and elegant presence. The teak displays a warm tone and attractive natural grain, typical of high-quality Danish production of the period.

The tabletop has been later enhanced with a contemporary artistic finish, introducing a distinctive visual character while maintaining the integrity of the original form.

A versatile and collectible piece, combining mid-century Scandinavian design with a unique modern accent.
