Empire Chest od Drawers with white marble on top, France, Ca. 1830 Spectacular Commode with original white marble on top and original empire legs. Front of drawers and sides of the body made of solid walnut. Pilasters with brass bases and capitals. Front of the drawers decorated with brass handles referring to the lion motif. The commode had been restored, retaining its original patina. The surface is finished with wax. Condition of this piece of furniture is very good and ready to use.
