19th Century Empire Walnut Chest of Drawers with Marble on top
France, 1810
Walnut

Antique Chest of drawers with black marble on top. Beautiful grain of walnut on front and both sides. Two classic half columns flank the front of the piece. The columns are detailed with bronze capitals and bases detailed with acanthus leaves and spiraled beading. The three lower drawers of dovetail construction are fitted with bronze drawer pulls and escutcheons. The upper fourth drawer fits seamlessly into the apron below the marble.
Original locks and one key suitable for 3 locks.

Condition:
In excellent condition having been hand polished with shellac in our workshop. Ready to use and enjoy.
