Antique Chairs – Late 19th Century Set of Twelve Lyre Back Dining Chairs in Beech
This beautiful antique chair set dates from the late 19th century (circa 1890–1900) and includes twelve beechwood dining chairs, two of which are armchairs for the head of the table. Elegantly proportioned and fully restored, this is a lovely combination of old and new.
Each chair has a curved backrest with a carved lyre motif – a neoclassical symbol of art and harmony. The front legs have ebonized accents and brass rosettes – a touch of sophistication. Solid beech and a warm honey finish.
Seating has been reupholstered in black on black striped fabric with new internal springs for extra comfort. Use around a grand dining table or as accent seating throughout the home – these chairs are elegant, comfortable and timeless.
